2010 RRR details can be found at http://www.ravenrockramble.org/routes.htm
2009 was great weather, a little hilly and a bit more chip seal pavement than necessary but a well put together event.
This is a really nice skride
and well supported.

Now this one is a blast!...very well supported, a little hilly but very scenic.
The 2009 event was on July 24th, and a moment ago I could've sworn the same date was for 2010 --- now I'm not so sure. ARG.
There's a FREE training ride in Lewisville this weekend. It's free even if you don't sign up for the Tour to Tanglewood
for MS
. These training rides are usually as good or better than rides you have to pay to attend. Rollout is 8 a.m. and registration starts at 7 a.m. or so. They roll promptly and rarely have been known to even roll a couple of minutes early maybe, so it's good to be ready.
I don't know the routes or distances, sorry. We'll likely do a route in the mid-30-mile range if there is one and if there is also a longer distance. Anyway that's what I know.
* Ride Starts: 8am
Posted on the Clemmons Bicycle website:
"Saturday 07/31/10: Tour To Tanglewood
Training Ride (18, 27, 36, 50 Mile Routes)"
And:
[Note: This entry incorrectly corrected then recorrected by roadskater. Thanks to MikeB for posting the event!] The Carolina Tarwheels Bikefest 2010 Rural Heritage Tour will be August 7, 2010, according to their website as of this writing:
http://www.tarwheels.org/clubportal/ClubStatic.cfm?clubID=1660&pubmenuop...
The NCBC calendar appears to be wrong on this date.
the 2010 dates are 9/25 and 9/26, with details found on their website as they develop:

2009 was a great experience!

Sign up until 11.59 PST today (tax day special, April 15th 2010) at Active.com, or print out a mail-in form to do A2A
for *$50* (all distances: 38, 52, 87).
UPDATE 4/16/2010 - Active.com registration is still open through today, April 16th, because there were reports of technical problems. So you can still sign up through active for $50 today. But then that's it.
last year's Tour de Pig was on the same weekend as A2A
. But it appears the 2010 Tour de Pig will be 10/09/2010 (the weekend after A2A).
More details will post at http://www.bikeride.com/calendar/event.asp?id=15611
