The Bicycle Toy & Hobby Tour to Tanglewood Training Ride is usually the last
of the season. On a nice route that is a mix of urban and rural roads, much of the
route follows the Tour to Tanglewood roads near High Point. We missed our usual
rest stop heroines Elaine and Valerie (congratulations Eliane and Mike!), but
tour and bike shop volunteers and staff did a wonderful job of taking care of us
on a very hot and humid day. I took a trip down memory lane and got a ground pepperoni
Sir Pizza and had a wonderful drive home, eating around the edges with glee!
It was a great day out with skaters Andy and Tim and with hundreds of friendly
Tour to Tanglewood cyclists.
