Five Roadskater.net skaters made it to the Bicycle Toy & Hobby Sales
Tour to Tanglewood Training Ride. Three chose the 43-mile version, which
was changed this year, and despite a section of gatorback, we feel the route
changes were for the better. In exchange for that gatorback, the rest of the
day was supersmooth, with a couple of serious hills to go up on Friendship-Ledford
Road. This year there was an abundance of food remaining when we returned to
the shop, which is another improvement from years past. Bicycle Toy & Hobby Sales
clearly took this training ride seriously, providing awesome support for a great
day of training that increases confidence as we go into the final days before
the 2009 Tour to Tanglewood. Thanks!
