We had a great 67-mile day on inline skates on the Chief Ladiga Trail in Alabama.
First, we drove to the Eubanks Wecome Center in Piedmont, Alabama and skated about 20 miles
to the Weaver AL end of the trail, near Anniston. After an electric storm passed, we
skated back to the car in Piedmont for ham sandwiches with spicy brown mustard. Yum!
Next, we booted up again and headed out for the 27-mile round trip to the Georgia-Alabama
border where the path becomes the Silver Comet Trail. It was a full afternoon
of hot sun and cool rain with lots of fun skating on the magnificent Chief Ladiga Trail.
