The Paceline Bicycles Tour to Tanglewood Training Ride took place on a hot day
when Greensboro NC was bursting with blooming bushes and trees, white and fuchsia.
The route was a nice and familiar one north of Greensboro, but unfortunately some
of the motorists were very rude to the cyclists near us. Of all the places in the Triad
I am sad to say that the north of Greensboro along some of the two-lane roads that
are suddenly carrying lots of new traffic, motorists in their giant cars seem to
not want to share the road, even early on a Saturday morning. We just want to exercise
and get ready for our charity rides (and skates), especially the Tour to Tanglewood
for Multiple Sclerosis and the Athens to Atlanta Roadskate for Lukemia and Lymphoma.
Please, please, please, share the road and politely as you can. Skateylove! Blake
