This was my first Tour to Tanglewood Training Ride at Spinz Bike Shop in High
Point, so I didn't know what to expect, except that it was in High Point. When
you start in a place called high point, there's probably an uphill on the way
back into town! I knew Spinz did a lot for local rides so I expected a nice ride,
and that turned out to be true. Andy was there but I wasn't sure until after the
start. We rolled along well and when we had to decide on the distance we asked
about any hazards on the long route, getting answers that made us decide to head
on back to the shop and do extra miles later if we just had to. It was a fine day
out in rolling hills and sunshine with the cyclists and tour volunteers and staff.
