As Saturday's events were canceled for the Tour to Tanglewood, the Roadskater.net
team went out for a 49-mile skate and bike on hilly, smooth supersweet asphalt
north of Greensboro. Sunday's Tour to Tanglewood routes left from Greensboro and
took us into Guilford, Forsyth and Davidson counties. As always, the cyclists were
great to us, many of them saying they took inspiration from our roadskating the route
as they cycled through the piedmont rolling hills. We had a great time, and our
out of state guests were pleased with the weekend despite threatening weather
that changed and delayed plans. We had hoped our 10th Tour to Tanglewood would
be a full two days of skating, but we know the real reason for the tour is to
help those who can't enjoy skating and cycling the way we do.
