This Tour to Tanglewood 2007 beginner bike ride and skate started from Spencer Love Tennis Center in Jaycee Park in Greensboro and hit the roads for about ten miles in the hot afternoon sunshine. The idea was to give new riders a chance to get used to riding on the roads in traffic, to encourage their safe participation in the Tour to Tanglewood, and to help with any questions they might have about the Tour to Tanglewood as well. Hopefully we'll have some more slow rides available soon for people who can't or don't want to hang on to the back of the plentiful fast rides in Greensboro. Meanwhile, slower cyclists should join the Roadskater.net crew at Country Park, most Tuesdays at 6 pm during daylight savings time, for a no-drop group skride.
