Register by 7.30 and roll by 8.30. Hillsborough has larger & lengthier hills than Apex,NC but the final route will determine severity.

Any Knowledge on the Route, Registration Availability?
I've done this once I think. As I recall they have an early cutoff for registrations. I seem to recall some gatorback out there on one route, but can't recall which. I think there's some info here on roadskater.net but I haven't searched yet. Anyone planning on this one? I think it's a good one but a challenging one too!

great event - i've done it many times
I just registered, since today is the last day for early registration...
As for the route, there are patches of gatorback, but nothing that's super painful. It can be a little disheartening if you're skating by yourself like I did last year...
The cyclists and organizers are very welcoming to skaters, and the rest stops are well stocked. I definitely recommend the event...
