Once the tropical storm/hurricane Hanna had passed on through during what would have been the Saturday morning ride to Tanglewood, the Roadskater.net Team had to decide whether to get in our cars and ride to Tanglewood or hit the roads and burn some calories. We decided to do 48.5 miles on our skates and bikes on a route of supersweet asphalt north of Greensboro.

On Sunday, we were glad to be able to participate in the Tour to Tanglewood for our 10th year on skates, covering 25 to 75 miles on skates. My photos are from the 46-mile route. We set a touring pace and took lots of photos, enjoying the sunshine as we reach the end of summer and face the shorter days and earlier sunsets of Winter ahead!

There is an absolutely wonderful photo of Kim and Amy skating. It's picture number 51 under 'TTT sunday route photos'. Go to the 3rd page. Somebody should buy that and put it on brochures, webpages and newspaper articles.
